New shoes come out all the time, every week, every month, every year. Before social media, shoe drops weren’t serious. With social media, everyone knows about the new shoes before they even come out. There are even shoe apps that keep everyone informed with all the details on the shoe drops. We aren’t completely through the year, however there are a few shoes that went viral during 2021. 

One pair of shoes that went viral this year are the University Blue Jordan 1’s. They were released on March 6th with a retail price of $170 and have sold out a few times. Another similar pair are the University Blue Jordan 4’s. They were released on April 28th with a retail price of $200. The difference is the style of the shoe, and the price. The Jordan 4’s are about $30 more than the Jordan 1’s.  

Another pair of shoes that went viral this year are the White Oreo Jordan 4’s. They were released on June 19th with a retail price of $190. The final pair of shoes that went viral this year are the Lighting Jordan 4’s. They were released on August 28th with a retail price of $220. These shoes are the same style, but completely different colors. The White Oreo Jordan 4’s are white, red, and have specks of black, the Lighting Jordan 4’s are yellow, grey, and black. 

There are many other shoes that went viral this year with social media. We still have a few more months ahead of us, so we will see what other shoes come out.
